Black Day
Student Vehicle Reminders
STUDENTS WHO DRIVE THEMSELVES VALLEY SOUTHWOODS, please note: We have many students that drive their own car to Southwoods who are parking in staff and/or visitor parking spots. Students may park in the white lined parking spots ONLY (as agreed to in the Minor School License packet; all students signed), NOT THE GREEN LINED SPOTS. Parking privileges can be revoked if these rules are not followed.
We also have many students that seem to be using their cars as a locker. The office staff is asked MANY times throughout the day if a student can go to their car to get things like, backpacks, books, money for lunch, shoes, phone, chrome books, gym clothes. Please bring your things with you in the AM when you arrive at Southwoods so we can minimize all the excess traffic in and out of the building.
We appreciate your cooperation on both of these issues. Questions? Stop by the main office.
Encore
Students are reminded that by now you should be signed up for one of next week’s (Apr. 16) Encore sessions. If you do not pick one for yourself, one will be assigned to you. TODAY is the last day to pick your own!!!
To make sure you are signed up, use Infinite Campus to check your schedule and you should see an Encore session that includes next Tuesday’s date in red.
If you have any questions, talk to any teacher.
FCA
The next Huddle is Monday (Apr. 15) evening in the Valley High School Cafeteria from 8-9:00. Come hear former NFL player and current MidAmerican Energy CEO Adam Wright share his story, plus a special surprise. All Valley and Southwoods students are invited to attend.
Don’t forget to follow us on twitter @Valley_FCA and Instagram @valleyhs_fca.
