Encore

Students are reminded that by now you should be signed up for one of next week’s (Jan. 29) Encore sessions. If you do not pick one for yourself, one will be assigned to you.

· To make sure you are signed up, use Infinite Campus to check your schedule and you should see an Encore session that includes next Tuesday’s date in red.

· If you have any questions, talk to any teacher.

Library Assistants

The library needs a new group of assistants second semester. If you enjoy working with books and want to earn silver cord hours, then stop by the library and pick up an application by the end of school today (Jan. 24) and return in by the same time Friday (Jan. 25). If you applied to be an assistant first semester and are still interested, please stop by and update your application.

Boys’ Rugby Club

The VALLEY BOYS’ RUGBY season is fast approaching and there will be a preseason meeting for all 9th -12th grade boys interested in playing this spring. We will be meeting this evening (Jan. 24) at 7:00 in the Forum at Valley High School.

· Coach Andrew will be on hand to answer your questions and give you an overview of what to expect this season.

Synchronized Swimming

Please plan to attend the re-rescheduled Valley Synchronized Swimming meeting on FRIDAY (Jan. 25). This is for all current members and those interested in joining the team. The meeting is after school in room 1505 (across from the swimming pool) at 3:45. Hope to see you there!

Sports News

All girls interested in playing tennis this spring should attend the pre-season Player/Parent Meeting RESCHEDULED to this evening (Jan. 24) from 7:00-8:00 in the Valley High School Media Center (enter through the north “main” entrance). The main office has a limited amount of 2019/20 COURSE CATALOGS for sale. The cost is $5.00 each; you must have exact change or make check payable to Valley PTO. Please note that this information is also available online, but if you prefer to work from a hardcopy, you will need to purchase it from the VHS/VSW PTO.
