Love and Hope Reactivation Club
A new club has started at Southwoods called the Love and Hope Reactivation program, or the L.H.R.C! The goal of this club is to bring people in who may be having feelings of anxiety or depression, and finding something that makes them happy and relaxed. You may sign up if you are stressed and wish to cheer up, or if you want to help others find joy! Many methods are used to find a hobby, belief, or a friend that can help you, but all activities are optional. Meetings are held every Monday after school in the Photo/ 2D art room (254) across from Team 4 from 3:20-5:00.

Chromebook Web Filtering: The Chromebook is a learning tool both in the classroom and at home. The partnership between your child’s school and home extends beyond learning reading, writing and arithmetic. Digital citizenship is an important part of today’s world, and helping your student become a positive role model in the digital world is an important part of the WDMCS Chromebook Program.
To that end, WDMCS chose a web filtering company, Securly, which allows parents to receive weekly emails that contain their child’s internet activity. Securly also offers a feature that allows parents to choose to block more web content at home, such as social networking sites like Facebook. For more information (click here). If you are having any problems with your Securly service, contact the directly (email click here).
Girls Track & Field Gear: Track and Field athletes, along with their family and friends, can now order Tiger Track Gear and have it here in time for the holidays (click here). The "online store" will close at midnight on November 12.
