Notes to Parents:
We have recently discovered that @mchsi.com parent email addresses are NOT receiving messages from Infinite Campus Messenger. Please read this post (click here) for suggested options. Please note: I do realize the irony of putting this information out in the daily announcements. If you have a friend or neighbor whose student(s) attends school along with your child, and you know they have Mediacom, please pass this along.

· A reminder that Junior High students are not allowed to attend High School sponsored dances of any kind. This includes: Valley Southwoods dances, the 9-12 Homecoming Dance, the 9-12 Winter Dance, and any other High School dances scheduled throughout any school year in West Des Moines.
· All WDMCS students must have a valid school ID, guests must have a valid photo ID, to enter the dance. If you do not have proper ID, you will not be allowed into the dance (even if you have already purchased a ticket).
· This weekends’ school dance is a semi-formal attire affair. So, no jeans, shorts, hats, canes, jerseys, sunglasses, or costumes allowed. We would suggest khaki pants with a collar shirt and tie for the boys; nice dress (but not long or formal "gowns;" dress length must be consistent with student dress code) for the girls.
